Thank you everyone for your contributions so far! You have exceeded all expectations for this Kickstarter, and this means I can truly make this dream a reality! With less than 48 hours left, I want everyone to be sure they get all the rewards they want before time runs out.

I had been out of town seeing family for the past week which made updates a bit tricky, but I have The Hierophant colored and uploaded here. I will continue to be updating regularly until the cards are shipped; thanks everyone for your patience this past week!

The Chariot and The Hanged One are both carved, and I am carving The Empress today. I'm over halfway finished carving the Major Arcana and can't wait to start the Minor!

We have exceeded the $35k stretch goal for more decks, and while I was thinking of doing something spectacular for the $40k stretch goal, I want to be sure I can fulfill all that I have promised here. Since I am only one person doing all of this, I will keep the goals as they are and use any more funding I get to make the best quality product I can for all of you.

I am just in awe of the response, enthusiasm,  and support I've received from everyone on this project. THANK YOU to everyone. This dream is coming true! 

I don't have much for this update but gratitude for all the amazing individuals who are making this happen. I'll continue posting the finished colored prints cards as updates here, and if anyone wants to see blocks in progress or other process-oriented bits please find me on Instagram @tinybrownbird

Everyone be sure to get any Kickstarter Exclusive items you want before the campaign ends! I am in the process of building a webstore where I will continue taking preorders for decks and the non-exclusive items, so if you miss the campaign you will still have a chance to preorder!

Wanted to post the most recent card I finished, which is The Sun. It features American Goldfinches and sunflowers.

I can't believe we're already halfway through the Kickstarter. Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response I've gotten surrounding this deck! 

At this time the next stretch goal of $35,000 will be for more practical and less fun uses (*sad trombone*), but at $35k I can print a ton more decks and distribute them even more widely. Past the $35K goal, I'm considering something really fun to add to the deck pledges which will be exclusive for all you amazing Kickstartlings.

I'm currently chugging along on the Chariot which I'm pleased with so far. 

Book Stretch Goal Reached, an Amazing Author, and a Very Early Box Concept

THANK YOU to everyone who pledged to make this happen! I am still reeling from the abundance of support I am getting from everyone with this Kickstarter.

I am happy to announce that the one and only RACHEL POLLACK will be the author of the guidebook. This guidebook will also be enclosed with the deck at no additional cost! I am such an admirer of Rachel's work, and can honestly say her books on the Haindl Tarot taught me how to read the tarot. I am also using her book 78 Degrees of Wisdom as a guide as I work on my own deck. So for me this is a HUGE honor, and I hope you find her approach to the Tarot as practical and inspirational as I do.

I'm also enclosing a VERY rough concept sketch for the wooden packaging design. I will unfortunately not have a professional prototype until after the Kickstarter ends, so I am using my fine-art-but-not-at-all-industrial-design talents to give you a little insight into how I would like the packaging to look. I apologize that this is not a standard slick and professional mock-up, but I am just too excited about the concept not to share it!

I am also considering redesigning the pint glasses into something a lot more interesting than just card images. I'd like to have one side of the glass be a suit (i.e. a single feather, a drinking horn overflowing with water, an arrow, and a root vegetable) and the other side be an animal directly taken from the prints. So, no boxy image, but instead something organic and much more interesting. I will be updating soon with new mock-ups.
